Lucky's Barnyard is home to the largest farm animal petting zoo attraction in Tennessee. Our farm offers a unique opportunity to experience a live encounter and learn about a variety of friendly, domesticated animals, including goats, sheep, llamas, chickens and many other sweet critters. Our interactive approach is fun for the young and young at heart.

What would a petting zoo be without a petting yard? This spot is reserved for our sweetest, cuddliest, cleanest and most well-behaved critters. The animals love the extra attention and are eager for your arrival. Feel free to brush the goats and sheep. Get up close to pet and feed chickens, llamas and other animals that wander through the petting yard.
Stop by the barn and take a sneak peek into Henny Penny’s chicken coop and watch baby chicks as they hatch from their eggs. Try to figure out the age old question: What came first the chicken or the egg?
Watch our sure footed goats scale the Goat-a-Coaster high in the sky over the roof top of the barn. They will steal your heart with their silly tricks.

When you’re at the animal farm make sure you find a few of our super-stars and say hello...
Listen for Jake the donkey’s “hee-haw” welcome;
Charlotte the pot-belly-pig snorts and oinks;
Famous goats Tullie, Ashes, and Zipper, love your treats;
Watch Lola the sheep, she likes to steal your hat;
Parade leader Star the miniature horse;
and Juanita our curious, kissable llama.
We invite you to visit the farm and get to know our friendly animals, but be prepared, whether you’re 2 or 92, you’ll want to take one home!
In addition to our on farm activities, Lucky Ladd Farms offers a mobile petting zoo for fairs, festivals, educational programs or other special events. Animal rentals are also available for live nativity scenes, performance arts, photography shoots, commercials, movies and music videos. Please e-mail us for additional details.
Lucky Ladd Farms takes pride in the care of our farm animals; we consider them to be part of our family. Each is a living creature that deserves a high quality of life and care. We provide our animals plenty of room to roam, pastures to graze, playgrounds to frolic on for good exercise and routinely inspect each farm animal to make sure it is in sound physical health. If one of our animals does not feel like being social that day, then we don’t force them. The animals at our petting farm seek the attention of our guests because they love people. As required by federal law, Lucky Ladd's petting zoo is USDA licensed and inspected to ensure the health and safety of our animals and our guests.
