Our objective is to provide an unique educational environment for children to learn about agriculture. We offer fun, hands-on activities and exhibits designed to bring your classroom lessons to life. Educational lessons support Tennessee State Curriculum Standards and provide a memorable and exciting learning experience for your students.
Teachers that book field trips before April 1, will receive a complementary class photo to remember your learning adventure at Lucky Ladd Farms.

Educational school tours last about one hour. We invite you to bring a lunch and stay a while. We have acres of playgrounds including two monster slides, corn boxes, jumping beans, a concession stand, clean portable rest rooms and more.
BARNYARD BONUS
Each child will receive a coloring/activity book and a gift certificate for a FREE return visit to Lucky Ladd Farms with their family and friends.

School Group Prices
The cost to attend is $6.00 per student, chaperone and each additional guest over the age of two. Teachers, paid school staff and bus drivers are admitted for FREE.
Discounted rates are available for schools that have a large percentage of students who are enrolled in Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch Programs and Title 1 Schools. Ask us for additional information.
Register for a School Field Trip:
Teachers can schedule a school field trip by either completing our Online Registration Form or by calling (615) 274-3786.
Prior To Your Arrival:
You will receive an e-mail or fax confirming your field trip reservation and date.

Please contact us 3-4 days prior to your field trip with the final headcount of students, teachers, chaperones and additional guests.

|
Have your payment prepared in advance. We strongly encourage payment with a school or personal check to make check-in as quick as possible. Checks should be made out to Lucky Ladd Farms.

Even if parents and siblings do no ride the bus, please collect their admission in advance. Failure to do so may cause your group to be delayed.
|
|
| If weather conditions are poor then please call us before canceling your field trip. The weather may be fine here at the farm. |
Upon Your Arrival:
Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled field trip. Send one representative to check your group in. Unfortunately, we are not able to extend your field trip time if you are late.

Park buses and cars in the designated area. Do not unload children until your representative returns from check-in.
|
|
You will receive admission packets and special instructions for each teacher upon check-in. |
Plan on staying about 2 hours or longer if you bring a sack lunch for a picnic on the farm. We have a great playground and plenty of educational activities your students will enjoy.

Stress to parents the importance of dressing properly. Clothes, shoes and children will get dirty. Depending on weather they may need to wear boots or dress in layers. We strongly discourage any open-toed shoes like flip-flops and sandals.
