Although we would love to be open to the public year round we are currently only open seasonally. During 2010 we will be hosting seasonal festivals from April 2 through May 2 and September 25 through October 31. We encourage you to visit our web site for upcoming events around the holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter for special celebrations.
Birthday parties, school field trips, mobile petting farm displays, family reunions, and special events are available year round by reservation.

General admission for daytime activities is $8 per person with children 2 and under admitted FREE. During our fall season admission for the Flashlight Maze including Moonlight Hay Ride is $10 per person.

Tons of fun! The petting farm, hay rides, acres of playgrounds featuring our 100' monster slide, 40' tube slide, corn box, sound garden, swings, roping steers, hay climbs, maze and many more fun activities for all ages. During the fall you also get admission to our corn maze.
Depending on how much quality time you want to spend in each area on the farm, you could easily spend two hours to all day.
Comfortable shoes and layered clothing. Seasonal weather can be unpredictable so we suggest bringing a jacket. We do NOT recommend flip flops, sandals, or slide on shoes. This is a farm and the ground can be un level. Boots are suggested if it has recently rained.
Yes, campfires are by reservation only. They include all the wood needed, a table for your personal use, and nine bales of straw which will seat about 18. You are welcome to bring in additional seating. While we do not provide campfire roasting forks, you can either bring your own or buy a roasting skewer from our concession stand. You are welcome to bring your own food, or we can supply that for your group for an additional fee. Campfire rentals are $45 per fire with paid admission.

Being Tennessee's largest petting farm means we love animals of all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, our insurance carriers and USDA regulations regarding animal welfare prohibit us from allowing outside animals onto the property.
No. For the safety of all, an adult (18 years or older) must accompany children under 12 years old at all times while visiting Lucky Ladd Farms. We encourage families to experience the attractions together.
Yes. On Friday, Saturday or Sunday, if one individual pays for 20 or more admission tickets, we will offer a discounted rate of $7 per person. We recommend you call ahead so we can have the tickets ready for you when you arrive at the farm, however, you may also ask for the group discount at the main entrance upon arrival. Cannot be combined with any other discount offer. Only one payment will be accepted for the entire group.
Yes, by reservation only. We require a minimum of 15 paying guests. Reservations can be made for either 9:30 am or 11:30 am Wednesday through Friday. For complete information on children's tours please visit our School Field Trips page.
PUMPKIN PATCH INFORMATION
Yes, in the fall we have both a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and a large variety of pre-picked pumpkins available for purchase. Most pumpkins will already be cut from the vine to make handling easier for young hands.
Prices vary depending on size. Our pumpkins start at $.75 each and go up according to size.
Yes. You may purchase pumpkins available in front of our Farm Market without purchasing a general admission ticket for the petting farm, corn maze and other activities. Take your pumpkin to the admission booth to pay for your purchase.
Currently we do not wholesale any pumpkins. We suggest you visit the "Pick Tennessee Products" to locate a wholesale producer.
INFORMATION ABOUT ACTITIVITES AND ATTRACTIONS
Our maze is a little over three acres in size. The amount of time it takes to complete depends on how well you answer the questions that guide you along the way. The average time is 30 minutes, but don't worry we have any exit at the half-way point should you find the maze too challenging.
The hay ride lasts about 30 minutes and features wildlife you would find across the state of Tennessee. No the animals are not real, but it's still fun to find them hidden along the trail through the woods. Fun facts and history about native wildlife and agriculture are shared along the way.
Yes. Animals at Lucky Ladd Farms are under the routine care of a veterinarian and our farm is USDA licensed and inspected to ensure all animals are maintained in a clean and healthy environment. We require adult supervision at all times around the animals and recommend that everyone use handwashing stations available when exiting the animal areas.
